Privacy policy

Lemma Group ("Lemma Group," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data our website collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It covers lemma-research.pages.dev and, once live, lemma.group.

1. Who we are

Lemma Group is an independent AI consulting and engineering practice operated by Ara Yeroyan, based in Yerevan, Armenia

2. What we collect, and why

Our site is a brochure site - three pages, no accounts, no logins, no payments. The only personal data that passes through it comes from three places:

• Newsletter sign-up. If you subscribe, we collect your email address to send you occasional updates. We use this and only this for the newsletter - we don't sell or share it for other purposes.
• Booking a call. Our "book a call" link opens Calendly (calendly.com/ar23yeroyan/consulting). Calendly collects your name, email, and meeting details under its own privacy policy, and shares them with us so we can meet with you. Calendly acts as an independent service in this exchange - please see Calendly's privacy notice for how it handles your data.
• Emailing us directly. If you email us via a mailto link, that goes through your own mail client - we don't collect anything through the site itself in this case, only whatever you choose to send us.

We don't use cookies, analytics, ads, or tracking pixels, and we don't otherwise track visitors. See Section 5.

3. Our legal basis for processing (GDPR)

For visitors in the EU/EEA and UK, we rely on:

• Consent - for the newsletter (you opt in, and can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing).
• Legitimate interest - for booking-related data, to respond to and hold the meeting you requested, and for basic security logging by our hosting provider.
• Contract or steps toward a contract - where you're discussing a potential engagement with us.

4. Third parties we rely on

We don't run our own servers or send our own email - a few outside providers handle pieces of this for us:

• Calendly - scheduling. See its privacy notice.
• Cloudflare Pages - hosting. Cloudflare may log visitor IP addresses briefly for standard security and DDoS protection purposes.
• Google Fonts - our site loads fonts from Google's CDN, which discloses your IP address to Google as part of that request.
• Our email service provider - sends the newsletter to subscribers (provider not yet finalized; likely a mainstream provider such as Buttondown or ConvertKit).

We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it with third parties beyond what's needed to run the site and respond to you.

5. Cookies

We don't set any cookies ourselves, and the site currently uses no analytics. If that changes in the future, we'll update this section and, if required, add a short consent mechanism before anything is set.

6. International data transfers

Lemma Group is based in Armenia, which does not currently have an EU adequacy decision. If you're contacting us from the EU/EEA or UK, your data (e.g., a newsletter sign-up or booking request) may be processed in Armenia and in the countries where Calendly, Cloudflare, and Google operate. We rely on those providers' own safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses, where applicable) for these transfers.

7. How long we keep data

• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your email.
• Booking/meeting details: for as long as reasonably needed to manage the engagement, then deleted or anonymized.
• Hosting security logs: per Cloudflare's standard retention for its logs, typically short-term.

8. Your rights

Wherever you're located, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data (e.g., unsubscribe and remove your email from our list).
• Ask us to limit how we use it.

To exercise any of these, email ara@lemma.group. We'll respond within a reasonable time, and in any case as required by applicable law (e.g., within 30 days for GDPR requests).

9. Children's privacy

Our site is intended for business audiences and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

10. Security

We use providers (Cloudflare, Calendly) that maintain their own security standards. No online system is 100% secure, but we don't store sensitive personal data ourselves beyond what's described above.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our tools change. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; material changes will be reflected here directly.
